
Prior to entering the Freshman Engineering Program, a student should demonstrate competence in science and mathematics, including a proficiency in algebra and trigonometry, and be prepared to enter Calculus I.Įmbry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach Campus offers combined and accelerated degree programs that allow well-qualified students the chance to begin graduate work in a master's program while finishing their bachelor's degree. Building on a strong foundation of thermodynamics and propulsion theory, propulsion students finish their degree program by designing a spacecraft-oriented engine from scratch including sizing, cycle studies and detailed component design.įirst-year students must complete the College of Engineering’s Freshman Engineering Program before continuing with their Aerospace Engineering courses.
